This week in Year 5 we were finalising our art galleries that we created online.  We looked at the features that would be in an art gallery and got creative trying to bring our visions to life.

This week in R.E. we were learning about sacrificing and giving. We learnt the importance of giving and why, although it may be hard, it is important to help others and give things up.

This week we have been looking at the planets in our solar system. We went outside and looked at the relative distance of the planets from one another. We then created a fact file about the planets in our solar system. 

This week in Year 5 we were learning about the last supper. We decided to act this out and look at the symbols used during the last supper. We learnt about the importance of the body and blood of Christ and also consolidated our understanding of who all the disciples were. 

For Spanish day, Year 5 had a fun filled day creating some amazing pieces of art. Firstly, we painted beautiful patterns onto pieces of paper which we then made into fans.
