This week we celebrated outdoor learning day on Wednesday 21st.  Firstly, we had our Maths lesson outdoors where Year 6 joined us.  We were throwing beanbags to see who could throw the furthest.  We then measured the distance thrown.  For Science, we dissected a flower and labelled the parts.  We then followed up by completing a whole school project to learn about how and why birds migrate.  We worked with the Reception and Year 1 to create a bird/glider and tested out the distance travelled.
